United tries to join in with viral nugget tweet, gets savagely roasted
It's not a good year for United, as everyone knows, and even their genuine PR attempts to get their reputation back up are being mocked relentlessly.
In April, Carter Wilkerson went on a mission to achieve 18 million retweets in order to get a year's supply of Wendy's chicken nuggets and United offered him a free flight.
