Selangor Menteri Besar Azmin Ali has filed an application for a judicial review to compel inspector-general of police Khalid Abu Bakar to locate and arrest corporate figure Jho Low, who has been implicated in the 1MDB scandal.
Azmin, who is also PKR deputy president, filed the application with the Kuala Lumpur High Court to grant leave this afternoon.
The application was filed through the law firm of Daim and Gamany.
Previously, it was reported that Azmin had sent a letter of demand to Khalid but the latter told the menteri besar to take the matter to court if he wanted to.
