‘MY LOYALTY TO NAJIB IS UNTIL MY DYING BREATH’: ‘DRAMA KING’ ZAHID SAYS WILLING TO DIE TOGETHER WITH NAJIB

DEPUTY Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has pledged his unwavering loyalty to Prime Minister and Umno president Najib Razak.

“My ‘wala’ (loyalty) to Najib is until my dying breath,” said Zahid at the Larut Umno division meeting, repeating a pledge he made at the Tasek Gelugor Umno division meeting this morning.

“We, as members, must be loyal to leaders to ensure success for Umno and (for the party) go on to win the general election,” said Larut division Youth chief Mohd Amran Abdul Rahman.

He said Zahid told them that although Larut was a “fixed deposit” for Barisan Nasional, they should not be complacent and must work hard.

” What is important is loyalty to the leadership and party. We will be successful and defend our seat in Larut.”

Larut Umno division Wanita committee member Amanah Zakaria said Zahid’s speech spurred determination to work hard for the party and BN.

She expressed confidence that Larut was firmly in BN’s grip, despite talks of Bersatu contesting the seat.
