A few days ago a new Pokemon mobile game was released and it is a sequel of the video game which was all the rage in the 1990s. Ever since this mobile game was released recently, it literally took over social media.

The game is called Pokemon Go and it sends people around the real world chasing virtual creatures called Pokemons.

However, it turns out that this application is using all the personal information of the app` users, such as pictures and everything found in their Google account and collected before the app was downloaded.

While millions and millions of people are collecting the fictional creatures, its developers, Niantic and Nintendo, get access to their account and collect personal information. Not only is the fact that this app is directly linked to your Google account that it alarming, but many users are even subjected to an invasive monitoring.

People who have signed for this game using a Google account, are giving Nintendo and Niantic full account access, without being aware of it. In other words, they can see and edit information regarding your personal account. This includes emails, photos, documents, search history, and all of your past location! What`s more, it can also send emails in place of you,  kind of the red flag, alarm bell hacker opportunity.
