Major Pokémon price drop: Mega Greninja ex Premium Collection is now under $60 at Amazon

The Pokémon TCG’s Mega Greninja ex-themed box has continued getting cheaper since its Premium Collection arrived in July, and Amazon has now knocked even more dollars from the eight-pack box.
As of Aug. 24, the Pokémon TCG: Mega Greninja ex Premium Collection is on sale for $57.68 at Amazon through third-party seller reVend. Compared with its $99.99 list price, that slices $42.31 from the cost for a 42% discount. You’ll get free delivery as soon as Aug. 28 at the time of writing.
It also beats the $60.95 Amazon price we covered earlier this month, and puts the eight included booster packs (two Phantasmal Flames, two Chaos Rising, and four Perfect Order) at roughly $7.21 apiece before accounting for everything else in the collection. Alongside those boosters, the box packs in a standard foil promo trading card featuring Mega Greninja ex, an oversize lenticular version for display, and a reusable tech sticker featuring the Ninja Pokémon.
Mega Greninja ex can do some useful work in a deck. Mortal Shuriken lets you discard a Basic Water Energy from your hand to place six damage counters on one of your opponent’s Pokémon, before Ninja Spinner can follow with up to 200 damage.
Amazon isn't quite the cheapest place to pick up the Premium Collection. For instance, Walmart currently lists the box at $55.77, making it just under $2 cheaper. TCGplayer goes lower still, with unopened listings starting at $46.55 plus $2 shipping, for a total of $48.55 — only $2.25 below its market price of $46.30.
