PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has thanked MIC and MCA for their roles in ensuring Barisan Nasional's victory in the Cameron Highlands by-election.

The former Umno president thanked the leadership of both parties as well as their machinery for their hard work during campaigning.

"Today is a win for all. We stand together my friends," he said in a Facebook post on Saturday (Jan 26) night.

Retired senior cop Ramli Mohd Nor made history by becoming the first orang asli to be elected as a Member of Parliament after winning the by-election on Saturday (Jan 26).

Ramli, 61, a Barisan direct member, defeated Pakatan Harapan's M. Manogaran and two others by a majority of more than 3,000.- Star
