Vietnamese Free Market Has 100 Million Consumers / Potential Entrepeneurs
Here is a quick video about Vietnam today. It is an eye popper.
The population of Vietnam is actually over 100 million. 25 years ago I used to give talks to young Vietnamese bankers. They were new to the idea of commercial and corporate banking. Well not anymore.
I visited Vietnam a few years back. Ho Chi Minh city is exactly like what you see in this video.
More than the high performing education system, the economic liberalisation and the openness of the entire country what I see is that the 100 million Vietnamese, especially the young, just want to be a modern people. Not just modern in their IT, their gadgetry and technical wizardry but to be socially modern human beings.
For example they have learned to value cleanliness and hygiene. Their cities and streets are clean.
