The lights are finally going up on Washington Heights! The first eight minutes of In the Heights were just released online, giving us a glimpse of what to expect when the full film arrives this Thursday.

Adapted from Quiara Alegría Hudes and Lin-Manuel Miranda's 2007 stage musical, In the Heights follows Usnavi (Hamilton's Anthony Ramos) as well as the other residents of his vibrant Manhattan neighbourhood as they reach for their dreams in a world that seems to be constantly working against them.
