Shiba Inu Marshmallows are a Thing in Japan and Can Be Yours For $12
Shiba Inu marshmallows are the latest treats from Japan that you’ll probably feel bad for eating.
The soft and sweet confectionery comes from Felissimo, which makes them by hand with careful attention to replicating the Japanese dog’s likeliness.
Just look how squishy they are.
Coincidentally, Felissimo happens to be Japan’s #1 provider of cat-themed merchandise, according to SoraNews24.
The new treats are said to be the follow-up to the company’s cat marshmallows, which they have been making for years now.
The Shiba Inu marshmallows come in sets of nine pieces, which come in a variety of different faces.
Inside each marshmallow is filled with both chocolate and anko (sweet bean paste), treating buyers to an authentic Japanese flavor.
Aside from eating them as they are, Felissimo suggests adding them on top of other desserts such as cakes and parfaits.
For their undeniable cuteness and uniquely Japanese flavor, a set of the Shiba Inu marshmallows is sold for 1,296 yen ($12) here.
Because the marshmallows come in decorative boxes, they also make great gifts!
