Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said the Bible supports her proposal to cap credit card interest rates at 15% in a tweet aimed at conservatives who also oppose abortion and LGBTQ rights.

"Usury — aka high interest — happens to be explicitly denounced in the Bible (& in many other religions)," Ocasio-Cortez said.
