My comments :

Dr Mahathir has confirmed the meeting with the Opposition MPs.

See the FIVE numbered points above? Those are my takeaways.

This meeting did not happen all of a sudden. There has been plenty planning prior to this meeting.

More importantly the Opposition MPs were called to order by a 'team leader'. The 'team leader' will most likely be the next Prime Minister No. 8.

Look at No. 5

5. to ensure rakyat does not suffer from political crisis if Dr M step down

This is a fantastic reassurance for all Malaysians. I hope the Bursa Malaysia reads my blog too. It is time for the Bursa to take off. There will be no chaos in the country. Dont worry.

3. team proposed  "more capable DPM or DPMs"

This means that Wan Azizah has to go. (Do read on).

Dr Wan Azizah has performed admirably as a DPM. It is not a power job. Yet she did not cause any silly embarrasments, fumble too badly or bungle too much. That alone is a great achievement. (There was that child marriage issue but the ostard wal retards wanted it). I must state my admiration for this extra-ordinary woman of tenacity and Titanic courage. Salam hormat saya kepada Dr Wan Azizah.

But after Dr Mahathir, we must have a strong and ready DPM ready to step into the PM's office at any time.

And since it will NOT be Anwar or Azmin, someone else will have to be appointed DPM. Or there may be TWO DPMs.

Who will the possible TWO new DPMs be?
Logic dictates they will be from the parties with the largest number of MPs in Parliament.

4. who can step in as PM immediately if anything happens

Being rather forward but common sensical.
Dr Mahathir is 94 years old. Time is at a premium.
So sort out the succession now.

1. that no one takes over midway
2. they do not agree him handing over reins to Anwar or anyone else

Anwar is out of the picture. Gone forever.
Azmin is also not part of the picture.

Otherwise the 77 Opposition MPs will not agree.

What does this really mean?

It means there is NO MORE Opposition in Parliament.

If Pas supports Dr Mahathir, if UMNO and GPS all support Dr Mahathir then there is no more opposition in Parliament.

It is a multi-party but single coalition government that will rule the country.

If it works - why not? Lets stop arguing and start working.

The only dark cloud is policy.

Same old same old unworkable policies will continue?

Stupid policies like arabic calligraphy in sekolah kebangsaan - compulsory even for non Muslim children?

The biggest problem is policy.

The braders do not seem to understand what is good economic policy.

The system that was put in place for the past 49 years has failed.
That is why the BN ultimately was thrown out.
All those policies must be thrown out the window.
The Malays and the nation needs a New Competitive Policy.

All the constipated people (leaders, politicians, civil servants, advisors, etc) who were behind all those useless and failed economic policies must be told to retire and go home. Never come back again. You ke-p*ndek morons have done enough damage to this country.

We really need new policy making - in education, economy, human and social rights, religion etc.

This will define and determine the future PMs of this country.

One final point. There has to be a re-shuffling of things.
When is this "re-shuffling" supposed to happen?
Some folks say it is this month - August.
Lets wait and see.
