Timstar Announces Plan to Propose to Girlfriend and the Countdown Has Begun

Timstar, the man who went viral after declaring his search for a girlfriend in 2014, announced his plan to propose to Sijia Wang, the love of his life for nearly a year.
 
The Asian Australian comedian, whose real name is Timmy Sun, broke the news in a Facebook post last Friday, setting the big date on Aug. 24.
  
Timstar and Sijia became an official couple on Sept. 12, 2018, thanks to their mutual love for boba tea.

However, it was on August 24, 2018, when they actually first met — hence the significance of the date this year.

“One year has gone pass [sic]. This is it guys and girls. I always tell her you are my Boba Tea. And girl, you are my one and only,” the 28-year-old wrote.

“Time to get married to this girl right here. Sijia Wang, will you marry me?”

Earlier this year, Timstar revealed that Sijia couldn’t actually care less about his “chest” and “six-pack,” which he has long endorsed in his videos.
Instead, she fell for his love for boba tea and ultimately changed his famous pick-up line to “No Boba Tea, No Sex.”

“Happy six months with this one,” Timstar wrote on their sixth month together. “The days are still counting. I’m no longer looking for an Asian girlfriend.”

“Bubble tea can really make a girl happy and stay with you for this long. If I can do it you can too.”

For her part, Sijia tries to play along with her boyfriend’s nagging — especially about going to the gym — “because you love him and he loves you.”

Timstar’s announcement, which came with a photo of Sijia enjoying some food, has received thousands of likes and comments.
Some congratulated the couple, but others thought they would be marrying too soon.
