WAYTHA - GOOD AND WORKABLE IDEA TO USE THE INDIAN FUNDS OF RM100 MILLION WISELY
The PH government has allocated RM100 Million once again for the Indian community welfare in Budget 2020.
I need to agree with P. Uthayakumar's suggestion that from the RM100 Million allocation, at least RM80 Million should be utilised to uplift the welfare of the Indian community by introducing a firm and lasting solution by modelling along the lines of Felda and Felcra, but this time by growing fruit trees, cows and goat farming schemes as per Harapan's 'Promise No. 17'.
Indians have been very successfully with the estate type of lifestyle and surely if we undertake this scheme it will surely benefit most Indians who are unable to pursue a tertiary education.
This scheme will also benefit the nation since there will be production of milk and meat available while fruits could be sold locally and internationally.
Once the Indians are gainfully earning a handsome income, turning to vice activities could be eradicated and the Indians will no longer be considered a menace to society as claimed by many people.
A good idea to ponder and implement. Will Minister Waythamoorthy be interested. - Mohd. Kamal Abdullah
