Istanbul Attack – It Doesn’t Pay To Play And Befriend Terrorists
They never learn. The Arab Muslims have bred them. The Western Christians have played with them. Heck, even a Muslim disguised as a Christian American president has befriended them by refusing to call them “radical Islamic terrorist”. And what were the consequences? The terrorists have been attacking all of them, Muslims and non-Muslims.
Saudi Arabia was the source of today’s terrorism when they bred and sponsored Al-Qaeda, which in turned gave birth to Daesh (ISIS, ISIL, IS). Last year, the ISIS terror group committed three suicide bomb attacks – in 1 day – in Saudi Arabia in the city of Medina, Islam’s holiest site after Mecca, and it happened just outside the Prophet’s Mosque.
Europe tried to be nice to them. Germany, under Angela Merkel, had invited 1.5-million Muslim refugees knowing very well ISIS terrorists would be among them. Merkel naively thought her humanitarian effort could change their heart, only to be repaid with mass sexual assaults / rapes by 1,000 Muslim migrants/refugees in Cologne, Germany, on 2016 New Year’s Eve.
Thanks to Angela Merkel, France, Germany, Belgium, Hungary and Italy suffered at least 16 attacks last year – ranging from stabbing, suicide bombing to truck attack. Still, in her 2017 New Year’s speech, Merkel stubbornly believes her government will win the fight against terrorism with “compassion” and denied that her open-door mass migration policy was wrong.
Barack Hussein Obama, considered by many as American first Muslim president, decided to “kowtow” to the Arab world and all the Muslim leaders, including extreme corrupted Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak. He has refused to call terrorists aligned to ISIS the radical Islamic terrorists. Heck, he has even backstabbed Israel and betrayed the Jews for that matter.
Was America any safer than before Obama takes the soft approach on radical Islamic terrorists? The answer – there were at least 14 domestic attacks, ranging from stabbing, bombing and shooting. The Orlando attack at Pulse Nightclub saw how Omar Mateen had called 911, pledged allegiance to Islamic State and then sprayed bullets and killed at least 51 people.
The 2017 New Year opened with a bang – a terrorist attack in Istanbul, Turkey, where at least 39 people have been killed, including 15 foreigners, and 69 wounded. Like the Berlin terrorist attack on December 19, 2016 where a truck was deliberately driven into the Christmas market beside Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, the terrorist responsible for the Istanbul attack escapes.
The attacker, armed with a long-barrelled weapon, killed a policeman and a civilian outside Istanbul’s popular Reina club at around 1:15 a.m. before entering and firing on people partying inside, Governor Vasip Sahin said. “Unfortunately (he) rained bullets in a very cruel and merciless way on innocent people who were there to celebrate New Year’s and have fun,” – Sahin told reporters.
Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said the attacker has not been identified and is still at large. “Our security forces have started the necessary operations. God willing he will be caught in a short period of time,” he said. The attacker who opened fire into the crowd of up to 700 people appeared to be wearing Santa Claus costume as CCTV footage from inside the club reveals.
The prime minister’s office issued a media blackout on the events and asked media to refrain from broadcasting and publishing anything that may cause “fear in the public, panic and disorder and which may serve the aims of terrorist organizations.” The Reina club is often frequented by famous locals, including singers, actors and sports stars.
Although no one has claim responsibility yet, the attack could be another job of ISIS or Kurdish militants. However, recent propaganda and statements by ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and new spokesman Abu Hasan al-Muhajir have specifically called for attacks in Turkey, which is backing rebel groups attacking its territories in Syria.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said the attack was staged to create chaos in Turkey. Ironically, when Wikileaks released a cache of thousands of personal emails allegedly from the account of Turkish Energy Minister Berat Albayrak, son-in-law of President Erdogan, it shows links between Mr. Albayrak and a company implicated in deals with ISIS-controlled oil fields.
From the mouth of the horse, Turkish media reported in 2014 and 2015 that the company – Powertrans – has been mixing in oil produced by ISIS in neighbouring Syria and adding it to local shipments which eventually reached Turkey. Mr. Erdogan was himself accused of having links to the smuggling of ISIS oil in 2015 by opposition politician Eren Erdem.
After a Turkish F-16 fighter jet to down a Russian Su-24 bomber jet over the Turkish-Syrian border, Russian had unveiled more proof that Erdogan and his family have benefited from the illegal smuggling of oil from ISIS-held territory – satellite images which shows columns of tanker trucks loading with oil at an installation controlled by ISIS in Syria, before freely crossing the border into Turkey.
Erdogan’s son – Bilal Erdogan – was another player whose BMZ Group was involved in the illicit business of trading oil with the terror group Daesh (ISIS, ISIL, IS) using oil tankers registered in Malta and even flew the Maltese flag. In fact, Erdogan had deliberately shot down the Russian Su-24 after Russia’s airstrikes damaged ISIS infrastructure and destroyed more than 500 trucks.
During the cold war between Turkish President Erdogan and Russian President Putin, Moscow had also revealed that ISIS militants make US$2 billion a year from the illegal oil trade especially with Turkey. With overwhelming evidence and reports from multiple parties, there’s little doubt that President Erdogan played a role in encouraging the terror group ISIS.
But trading and making money with terrorists could only make Erdogan a greedy leader, not terrorist sponsor or breeder, right? Wrong, because the Russian defence ministry had also revealed that the same criminal networks which were smuggling oil into Turkey were also supplying weapons, equipment and training to Islamic State and other Islamist groups.
Like it or not, President Erdogan plays a major part – either directly or indirectly – in making the first 2017 New Year attack in Istanbul possible. And like President Barack Hussein Obama, Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel and the King of Saudi Arabia, he still hasn’t learned that it doesn’t pay to play and befriend terrorists, regardless whether they are ISIS or Kurdish.
