LPI Capital proposes 1-for-5 bonus issue, declares dividend 45 sen

KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 10): LPI Capital Bhd has proposed to undertake a bonus issue on the basis of one bonus share for every five existing shares.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, LPI said the bonus issue will entail the issuance of up to 66.4 million bonus shares.

The company said the bonus issue aims to reward existing shareholders, as well as increase the share capital of the company to a level which will better reflect the current scale of operations and assets employed by LPI and its subsidiaries.
