Maroon 5 and Travis Scott really went and did a tribute to SpongeBob during their Super Bowl LII performance.

Travis Scott opened his performance of "Sicko Mode" with scenes from SpongeBob's iconic rendition of "Sweet Victory."

SpongeBob SquarePants fans launched a Change.org petition in November 2018 after the death of Stephen Hillenburg, who created the beloved series, calling for artists to perform "Sweet Victory" in his honor.
