Tourist Poses For Photos in Bali, Gets Swept Away By Massive Wave

A female tourist was slammed by a powerful wave as she was posing for a photo at a rocky beach coast in Bali, Indonesia.

Footage of the incident, which surfaced on Facebook over the weekend, soon became widely shared on Chinese social media platforms.

The viral clip showed the unidentified woman posing with her stretched out arms while smiling for the photo on the coast of Nusa Lembongan island.

A wave suddenly rose and then rushed toward the cliff where the woman and other tourists along with the person filming the video.

As the wave hit them, the tourist vanished under the water while the person behind the camera tried to protect the equipment.

 

According to Shanghaiist, the woman survived the incident, sustaining only bumps and bruises on her body.

In another clip, she can be seen soaking wet and being attended to by her photographer.
