Harapan gets multiple 'F' in opposition leader's '365 days in power' test

The Pakatan Harapan government, which will celebrate its first anniversary on May 9, has failed, according to opposition leader Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
The Umno lawmaker said the government has to improve its performance because it promised to be better than the previous BN administration.
"It has to prove itself, but until today, it has failed to do so," he added in Parliament today.
According to him, Harapan failed in several aspects - fulfilling its election manifesto, ensuring political and economic stability, debt management, cost of living and prices of commodities.
"Definitely failed in taking care of the welfare of the people. (Look at) the cost of living, prices of goods keep increasing, while prices of commodities are dropping.
"The country's debt continues to increase and in terms of stability, there is no economic stability. We do not see any political stability either. It remains unclear who is the successor (of the premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad) and when he is going to take over.
"I want to congratulate Harapan for celebrating its one-year anniversary. The people want them to be successful," he added.
