Legendary CNN Journalist May Lee Launches New Podcast With NextShark — SNEAK PEEK

It’s our pleasure to give the NextShark community a sneak peek at our latest collaboration — a new and empowering Asian American podcast!

Partnering with legendary journalist May Lee and her company Lotus House Media, NextShark is proud to announce “The May Lee Show” which will be launching in just a few short weeks.

“The May Lee Show” is all about putting Asian American issues under a magnifying glass with talented and relevant Asian Americans who’ve made impactful contributions to the advancement of the AAPI community.

May Lee is the first Korean American to become a news anchor for CNN. She was the co-host of Oprah Winfrey’s women’s network Oxygen Media and a main anchor at CNBC Asia. For over 30 years, she has covered world changing events like the 1997 Handover of Hong Kong, the 9/11 attack on New York City, and Hollywood’s “Me Too” movement, among many other important global events. She’s interviewed some of the most prominent figures in history including Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, Henry Kissinger, Lee Kuan Yew, Yasser Arafat, Al Gore, Jackie Chan, Monica Lewinsky, and more.

We are happy to give you a sneak peek of our first teaser episode featuring our very own NextShark founder and CEO Benny Luo:

“The May Lee Show” is set to debut February 2020 with episodes released weekly on all podcast streaming platforms.
