Husam denies fallout with Mat Sabu
Amanah vice-president Husam Musa today denied that he had a fallout with party president Mohamad Sabu.
This comes after a news portal published an article this morning, claiming that he had quit from his party post and as Kelantan Pakatan Harapan chairperson, allegedly related to a problem with Mohamad.
"It's not true. I deny the content of the article," Husam told Malaysiakini via a text message.
Asked to clarify if he was denying a fallout with the Amanah chief or was quitting as Amanah vice-president, Husam replied: "It's fictitious".
Earlier this morning, The Malaysian Insight published a story, quoting sources, as saying that Husam had quit from both political posts but kept his position as Kota Baru Amanah chief.
Husam was alleged by the sources to have submitted his resignation to the party two weeks ago.
He also maintained that all was well between him and Mohamad, who is better known as Mat Sabu.
"There is no problem," Husam added.
Two weeks ago, similar speculation also surfaced about Husam having allegedly quit Amanah to join PKR.
When Malaysiakini contacted him then, he had also denied the matter. - Mkini
