Here is another typical Club of Doom news story. In Egypt yet another writer (a 76 year old man) has been sentenced to jail for writing a book.
This is another typical characteristic of a Club of Doom society - they are afraid of words printed on paper. Mere words, printed using ink on paper, can become such a threat to them that they prosecute even 76 year old writers and throw them in jail. And the group that feels threatened is actually very small and few in number. They are at the same time also protecting their jobs. This is about their job security as well.
