GE2020: WP's Raeesah Khan Champions Mental Health Issues And Bravely Opens Up About Going To Therapy
It is very brave and courageous of Worker's Party candidate Raeesah Khan to talk about mental health and open share about herself seeing a therapist.
Mental health is just as important as physical health, but is often neglected because of the stigma surrounding it. Just as Raeesah advocates, society should normalise seeking help when we are in a tough mental spot. There is no shame in seeing a therapist to work through our issues, just as there is no shame in seeing your GP when you are down with the flu.
No other PAP candidate or MP has championed mental health issues in Parliament. Let's give WP and Raeesah a chance to be the voice of this neglected group of Singaporeans!
