Record 9,020 Covid-19 cases, 3,500 in Klang Valley alone

PETALING JAYA: The health ministry has reported a record high 9,020 Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours.

This is the fifth consecutive day that Malaysia has broken its all-time high of daily infections.

In a Twitter post, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the total number of infections now stands at 558,534.

Selangor recorded the highest number of cases with 2,836 while Kuala Lumpur had 789 infections, making it over 3,5000 cases in the Klang Valley.
