Actor Sir Roger Moore, who was most well-known for playing the role of James Bond, has died at the age of 89.

Moore was the third actor to play Bond, and appeared in seven films between 1973 and 1985.

His family said he died after a “short but brave battle with cancer” in Switzerland.
