Digi says board chair Lars-Ake Valdemar Norling to resign

KUALA LUMPUR (March 14): Lars-Ake Valdemar Norling will be stepping down as the chairman of Digi.com Bhd's board of directors following his resignation from Norway's telecommunications provider Telenor ASA, which owns 49% of Digi shares.

Consequently, he will be relinquishing his position as the chairman of Digi's remuneration committee when a suitable candidate is identified.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Digi said an announcement will be made once a suitable candidate has been identified.
