Woman Who Hasn’t Cut Her Hair for 15 Years is Basically the ‘Asian Rapunzel’

A woman in China recently catapulted herself into instant social media stardom just by flaunting her incredibly long hair.

Qiao Jinzi, a 32-year-old woman from Shangqiu city, Henan province, gained fame on streaming service Kuaishou after revealing her hair that she hasn’t cut for 15 years. 

Standing at 5 feet and 4 inches (1.64 meters) tall, Qiao has grown her hair to the length of about 5 feet and 11 inches (1.8 meters). She usually keeps it in braids so it appears shorter than it actually is. 

In her streams, Qiao details how she cares for her high-maintenance hair, Shanghaiist reports. 

According to the streamer, she washes her glorious mane once every three to four days to keep it healthy and shiny. She noted that the arduous hair-washing process could take over an hour.

Qiao does not mind the hassle however, as she has expressed her desire to keep her hair growing for now.
