If there's one reward for making it through yet another long slog of a winter, it's taking a sunny day off from work or getting out of the house on a warm weekend and getting stoned. 

Of course, your mileage may vary depending on several factors, including your local cannabis laws. We don't want anyone doing anything illegal, after all. But if you happen to live in one of the 10 states (and Washington, D.C.) where recreational cannabis is totally chill, or you're visiting one of those states, there are plenty of options.

Whether you're finding a bright spot to lay out and embrace a sunshine daydream or a cool, dark corner to relax away from the heat, there's a range of places outside of your home that are worth the trip.
