BTS ARMY Shut Down Fragile Men on Twitter Over Racist Comments About Suga at Dodgers Game

Once again, BTS fans proved that they are called ARMY for a reason when racist, homophobic comments were made about Suga in an ESPN twitter thread.

On Tuesday, ESPN tweeted a shoutout to BTS member Suga, who attended a Dodgers vs. Braves game at the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.

The 26-year-old K-Pop idol attended the match in support of Dodgers pitcher Ryu Hyun Jin, who tossed a complete-game shutout for a 9-0 victory over the Braves.

Outside the ballpark, the two friends met each other and posed together for photos.

While ARMYs took delight in seeing Suga unwind after a sold-out concert at the Rose Bowl Stadium, some baseball fans — many of them believed to be White men — filled ESPN’s thread with hateful, belittling and xenophobic comments.

“Americans don’t like that crap, except pre-teen girls,” one wrote.

As expected, ARMYs lived up to their loyal reputation and wasted no opportunity to educate unenlightened netizens.

“While you pop a vein over BTS, they’ll be performing at sold out stadiums across the world. Please feel free to continue clenching until your fragile masculinity fades away or until you culture and educate yourself,” one replied.

Needless to say, the ARMYs have again taught the world that the men of BTS are not to be trifled with — while still being respectful in the process.
