IN TYPICAL UMNO FASHION, NUR JAZLAN TURNS ‘LOW IQ’ & UNPRINCIPLED: TELLS BERSIH TO STOP ITS RALLY IF IT WANTS RED SHIRTS VIOLENCE TO END
KUALA LUMPUR— The controversial Red Shirts movement will stop their actions if electoral watchdog Bersih stops their rallies as well, deputy home minister Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed said today.
Bersih’s nationwide convoys ahead of a November 19 rally has been marred by interruptions and also scuffles involving the Red Shirts movement led by Sungai Besar Umno chief Datuk Jamal Yunos.
“If Bersih is not getting traction among the people they should stop (demonstrations),” he told reporters at the Parliament today.
“If they (Bersih) stops the red shirts will stop too,” Nur Jazlan added.
