Microsoft brings Fedora, SUSE, and Ubuntu Linux to the Windows Store


At day two of its Build developer conference in Seattle today, Microsoft noted that it’s simplifying the process of installing Linux through its own Windows 10 OS, so you can run Windows and Linux apps side-by-side. Three flavors of Linux – Ubuntu, Fedora and SUSE – are coming to the Windows Store, so you can install these OSes on your device just like you would any other app. While Ubuntu is already available, Fedora and SUSE are coming soon.
