KUALA LUMPUR (May 17): Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) has exhausted its investigations into 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) and will not be reopening the case, unless new evidence arises.

“We have taken all the action that we can in relation to this particular entity. We don’t have the jurisdiction to take anymore action,” Tan Sri Muhammad Ibrahim told reporters at a media briefing today.

However, BNM is waiting for more transparent data to be released by the Ministry of Finance, he said.
