Ministers’ political secretaries take oath of secrecy

Twenty-three political secretaries to the respective cabinet ministers took their oath of secrecy before Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad today.
The simple ceremony, held at Perdana Putra in Putrajaya, was also attended by the Chief Secretary to the Government Ismail Bakar.
The full list of political secretaries and the respective ministers they report to are as follows:
  • Muhammad Zahid Md Arip (Prime Minister)
  • Mohamad Nuhairi Rahmat (Prime Minister)
  • Abu Bakar Yahya (Prime Minister)
  • Romli Ishak (Deputy Prime Minister)
  • Mohd Nardin Awang (Home Minister)
  • Tony Pua Kiam Wee (Finance Minister)
  • Mohd Azhad Che Mat Dali (Defence Minister)
  • Mohd Nizam Morad (Education Minister)
  • Dahlan Maamor (Transport Minister)
  • Cheang Chee Khing (Human Resources Minister)
  • Ahmad Sabki Yusof (Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister)
  • Syed Azman Syed Ahmad Nawawi (Health Minister)
  • Mohd Aizad Roslan (Youth and Sports Minister)
  • Mohamad Rahim Osman (Entrepreneur Development Minister)
  • Saiful Izham Ramli (Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister)
