Crazy Rich Chinese Man Goes Berserk After Woman Rejects Lamborghini Marriage Proposal

A wealthy man in southern China ended up throwing tantrums after his love interest rejected his marriage proposal that featured a brand new Lamborghini.

The incident occurred just outside of the Wanda Plaza shopping complex in Changsha, Hunan province on Saturday, Two Eggz reported.

 

The man apparently bought an orange Lamborghini in hopes of getting his beloved to say yes.

Aside from the luxury car, the proposal also involved balloons, roses and fireworks.

In a video, the man is seen kneeling before his love interest as onlookers surround them.

“I bought your favourite sports car for you.”

Unfortunately, the woman — an expat fluent in Mandarin — rejected his proposal.

“I’m so sorry, I don’t want to. I’m so sorry.”

In a desperate attempt to turn things in his favor, the man yells, “I have money!”

“I can buy as many of these cars as you like. I can buy whatever you want,” he tells the woman. “Marry me! Marry me!”

The woman turns him down again but he remains persistent, demanding, “Don’t go. Marry me!”

At this point, the woman loses her cool and replies, “You have money, so what?”

The woman then walks out of the scene with a friend, leaving the crowd stunned.

The drama does not end there as the man, devastated by the rejection, throws a bouquet into the camera’s direction before destroying products on display behind him.

Weibo users had mixed reactions regarding the incident, with some believing that it could have been staged for marketing purposes.

“No wonder girls don’t agree with him.”

“This man’s quality is lost, I’m not surprised he’s rejected.”

“[Better] be a talented person with a rich appearance!”

“How do you think is this played? Is the acting a bit poor?”

“Money is not omnipotent, but no money is impossible.”
