Skin fibromas, commonly referred to as warts, are often mistaken for birthmarks. However, they are different than birthmarks and are prone to inflammation.

Fresh celandine juice, (Chelidonium maius L.) or tincture, has been long used to treat warts. The treatment should be applied two times daily directly onto the wart.

Sticky tape?

The benefits of sticky tap and liquid nitrogen in regards to wart removal have been studied since 2002 by a group of researchers. After treating the warts with a sticky tape and removing the dead skin cells with a stone, 85 percent of the patients have successfully removed their warts.

On the other hand, freezing with liquid nitrogen removed 60 percent of the warts. It has been scientifically shown that sticky tape causes irritation, which in turn boosts immune stations and attacks the wart. It is also believed that the chemicals from the glue may have positive effect as well.
