In addition to this, it is also recommended to wash the sheets on a regular basis. Every week or at least every two weeks works best.  When washing the sheets, don’t forget the pillow cases!

In a nutshell, leaving the bed unmade exposes the mites to light and fresh air, which in turn dehydrates and kills them.  So, if you want to make your bedroom a safer place to sleep,  start doing this as soon as possible.
