Amazing Dad Couldn’t Handle His Daughter’s Hair and Decided to Take Hairstyle Classes

And the award for the best dad of the month goes to Greg Wickherst. He is a single father of a cute little girl called Izzy.

Both mean the world to each other as they find simple solutions to whatever comes on their road.

Single dads are different breeds. Some of them don’t want to go over their ego and help their kids leaving them to handle the world by themselves.

Another breed is where Mr. Greg belongs. Fathers who will do anything to make his kids’ life easier. Even though it means breaking the comfort zone, they are in.

The family and friends are always here to give advice how to handle some situations, but the best advice comes from within.

With Greg being a part of this breed, he wants to give his little Izzy the same care and attention little girls get from living with their mothers.

He has mastered all the required skills like feeding, dressing, playing, being here for her and even talking about her little girl problems.

But he continually failed at one particular skill: Giving her a haircut and taking care of Izzy’s hair.

The Failed Attempts

It wasn’t just the hair that gave him the biggest problems. It was more about how to stylish her hair. He was unable to put her hair in a ponytail.

The Struggle

“I used to just part her hair. Then one day I started trying to put pony tails in and for some reason, I couldn’t figure it out,” Wickherst Says

The Training

Mr. Greg works as a college admissions counselor. He thought about it and decided to visit the cosmetology department at IntelliTec College where he works.

He asked the students for tips and tricks how to stylish his daughter’s hair.

All of the students were more than happy to help. They saw the motive and dedication the dad has and couldn’t resist but to help him achieve the final goal.

The Final Result

Hairstyling brought more to their life than just doing Izzy’s hair.

“I also found it was a bonding experience between me and my daughter,” says Wickherst.

It wasn’t an overnight success. He spent lots of hours perfecting his moves to stylish the hair.

He now uses the Social media to show his creations to his friends who supported him about the idea.
