Police arrest seven more men over Nothing to Hide fracas

Police have arrested seven more suspects in connection with the "Nothing to Hide 2" forum ruckus on Sunday, reported The Star Online
The report quoted Selangor CID chief ACP Fadzil Ahmat saying the seven men, aged between 20 and 30, were picked up on Monday.
Three teenagers aged between 17 and 19 are currently under remand in connection with the case and the latest arrests bring the total number of those detained, to 10.
"We will request remand for the latest arrests today.
"We believe they might have been involved in the commotion during the forum," Fadzil was quoted saying, adding that police are also looking for several more individuals to assist investigations.
According to him, the probe is looking into the use of flares in the venue of the forum and the aspect of rioting.

Fadzil also told the portal that police are still probing a news portal's report that the three detained teenagers were paid RM50 each prior to the event.
Pandemonium broke out at the forum on Sunday, when Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) chairperson Dr Mahathir Mohamad was answering a question on the Memali incident in 1985.
Slippers were thrown towards the stage, where the former prime minister was standing, followed by chairs and flares. Fights also broke out between Bersatu members in the hall and the troublemakers.
Mahathir escaped unscathed.   Mkini
