Malaysia Airlines to fly to Surabaya from October

KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 5): Malaysia Airlines Bhd will be launching a new route to Surabaya, connecting Kuala Lumpur and the capital of the east Java province, according to a statement today.

Malaysia Airlines said operations to the new destination are set to begin in October, with the inaugural flight starting on Oct 29.

The four times weekly service to and from Surabaya will be operated by the airline's B738-800 aircraft with a capacity of 160 seats, said Malaysia Airlines.
