‘HER PRIVATE PARTS SHOWED SIGNS OF RUPTURE’: SCHOOLGIRL GANG-RAPED BY 4 IN KAJANG

KAJANG – A 15-year-old schoolgirl was gang-raped by four males, including a teenager, at an apartment in Bandar Saujana Putra here last week.

After meeting her in Bandar Seri Putra on March 8, Kajang police chief Assistant Commissioner Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yusoff said the suspects had allegedly taken her to the apartment and took turns to rape her at about 10pm.

Dzaffir said here today that the victim’s mother found out about the gang-rape on Wednesday (March 14), when she was going through her WhatsApp messages.

“We received a report from the victim’s mother at 3.29pm the same day,” he said.

He said the victims were arrested at an apartment in Bangi about 9pm that day.

“Based on the report, the suspects were known to her. Three of the suspects are the victim’s schoolmates,” he said.

The victim was sent for a medical examination and old signs of rupture were found in her private parts, he said, adding that the suspects, aged between 14 and 21, were remanded for six days to facilitate investigations into the alleged gang-rape under Section 375 (b) of the Penal Code.
