The US imposed sanctions against two top Turkish officials on Wednesday in a long-standing dispute over Turkey's detention of American pastor Andrew Brunson. Brunson was arrested in 2016 and has been accused of leading a failed military coup against Turkish President President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
