He said in both incidents on Saturday and Sunday, the suspects introduced themselves as policemen from the Kuala Lumpur police contingent headquarters before inspecting the the licences of the premises and the documents of employees.
“The suspects then blackmailed the victims to hand over money and other valuables if they didn't want to be arrested,” he said in a statement.

In the incident at the retail outlet, the victim lost RM3,800, while the operator of the restaurant suffered RM5,000 in losses, as well a laptop and three mobile phones, he said.
Following this, police raided condominium units around Jalan Klang Lama and Jalan Sultan Ismail and this led to the arrest of the three suspects and the seizure of a Myvi car, eight mobile phones of various brands, a laptop and a pair of handcuffs believed to be linked to the two cases. – Bernama
