That’s according to Variety, which reports that Winslet is being wooed to star in Allen’s next project which starts shooting in the fall.

It would mark the first time that Winslet works with the prolific filmmaker.

Details of the storyline are scarce, but Allen will be writing, directing and producing the movie.

The news comes ahead of the US release of Cafe Society starring Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart, which opens July 16.

Winslet will next be seen Collateral Beauty opposite Will Smith and is also working on The Mountain Between Us, with Idris Elba. — AFP-Relaxnews
