Women dominate this year's National Book Foundation '5 Under 35' honoree list
Congratulations are in order.
The National Book Foundation announced the honorees for its 2017 5 Under 35 list on Monday, shining a spotlight on the bright new talent that you should be reading. Each year, the honor is given to five authors, under the age of 35, who have published their first and only book of fiction within the last five years.
Notably, this year, the National Book Foundation's 5 Under 35 list is made up entirely of women: Lesley Nneka Arimah, Halle Butler, Zinzi Clemmons, Leopoldine Core, and Weike Wang. Read more...
