It’s raining cars in this new behind-the-scenes clip from ‘Fast and Furious 8’ (VIDEO)
LOS ANGELES, June 11 — Here’s another look at the explosive scenes that await in Fast and Furious 8.
In this behind-the-scenes video, seven cars are seen plummeting from a parking garage and onto a moving motorcade on the street below which results in a fiery pileup of 35 to 40 cars.
A stunt coordinator in the video refers to the scene as the “Zombie Cars” and another crew member explains that each one of those seven cars were actually aiming for a particular vehicle on the street below.
The popular franchise will see veterans Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez and Jason Statham star alongside newcomers Charlize Theron, Scott Eastwood and Kristofer Hivju.
Furious 8 is set for release on April 14, 2017. Fast 9 and Fast 10 are set to race to theatres on April 19, 2019, and April 2, 2021, respectively.
