Need for speed: A look at the 2016 Porsche 911 Carrera (VIDEO)
KUALA LUMPUR, June 17 — The new generation Porsche 911 and Macan GTS was launched in Malaysia today, according to a press release by Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP), the official importer of Porsche in Malaysia.
SDAP CEO Arnt Bayer said, “The 911 is our tradition; it is also our future and will never stop evolving and improving. It has been the world's best-selling sports car for decades and this new generation of 911 has arrived to further extend this lead.”
“In addition to that, the extremely sporty Macan GTS combines high level of Porsche driving dynamics with outstanding everyday utility. Like all Porsche models that bear these three letters, the new GTS version of the Macan is inspired by motor racing,” he added.
The new 2016 Porsche 911 Carrera features new drive technology, turbo engines, gearbox and an updated chassis.

The retail base price for the Macan GTS starts from RM710,000, while the Porsche 911 Carrera, 911 Carrera S and 911 Carrera 4S ranges from a starting price of RM870,000 to RM1,040,000.
