SEPANG (May 22): Malindo Airways Sdn Bhd received its first Boeing 737 Max 8 single-aisle short-to-medium haul aircraft here today to become the world's first airline to operate the aeroplane.

At the inaugural flight ceremony here today, Malindo chief executive officer Chandran Rama Muthy told reporters that the airline would receive another three Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft this year for chartered and commercial scheduled flights.
