KLCI ekes out marginal gains as sellers take lead

KUALA LUMPUR (July 24): The FBM KLCI eked out marginal gains at the midday break today as sellers outpaced buyers in line with the retreat at most regional markets, and most local indices traded in the red.

At 12.30pm, the FBM KLCI was up 0.57 points to 1,759.73. The index had earlier risen to its intra-morning high of 1,761.35.

Losers led gainers by 368 to 226, while 445 counters traded unchanged. Volume was 905.49 million shares valued at RM555.13 million.
