Selangor-Putrajaya Splash talks to be extended again, says minister

KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 4): The federal government said it is in talks with Selangor to extend — for the third time — the deadline to finalise takeover of Syarikat Pengeluar Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Splash).

Energy, Green Technology and Water Minister Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Ongkili said “discussions are ongoing” between Putrajaya and Selangor, which will see them miss the Oct 5 deadline.

“We hope to finalise the details in the next two weeks,” Ongkili said at a media briefing today, without elaborating.
