PETALING JAYA: A month after Pakatan Harapan’s historic GE14 victory, it appears that some Malaysians are still caught in the post-election euphoria.
Meet Vincent Kiew, an avid Lego collector who immortalised Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and his wife Tun Dr Siti Hasmah in the form of Lego bricks.
Kiew had shared pictures of Dr Mahathir and Dr Siti made entirely out of Lego on Facebook, which immediately gained traction among social media users
Dr Mahathir’s figure, clad in his trademark grey suit, was placed next to Dr Siti, who donned a bright purple baju kurung while carrying a white handbag.
Kiew was particularly inspired by the love shared by the two nonagenarians, and how Dr Mahathir made a spectacular return into politics by defeating Barisan Nasional from its 61-year rule.
“There are always many heartfelt stories behind seniors. The love story of Dr Mahathir and Dr Siti inspire us to cherish and love our partners,” he said.
