RM2 ‘investment’ begets manager RM26 million

PETALING JAYA: A company manager won RM26.4 million after spending just RM2 on a pair of 4D numbers.

The 50-year-old from Malacca, was among two winners who scooped up a total prize of RM44.8m in the Sports Toto Jackpot’s May draw.

He paired his new car registration number and house address to get the winning combination of “7548 and 8899″, to clinch the millions last Saturday, The Star Online reported today.

He said he would use the winnings for investment, his child’s education and donate some to charity.

The second winner from Penang, who pocketed RM18.4m, succeeded after three years of buying the same set of numbers.
